Event Date:
Jan 13th, 2008-
CANCELLED
Where: Black River Paintball- Angier "Farm"
location
Entry Fee:
$150/team through January 6th. THERE WILL
BE NO REGISTRATIONS AFTER THE CUT OFF DATE.
Includes: Mission Card, playtime, all day air (HPA or CO2).
MISSION:
OBJECTIVE:
-
Teams start at
their respective Jump/Deployment points.
-
Each team will
work to infiltrate other Fire Bases and
secure important documentation.
-
In addition to
the documents collected at the fire bases,
there will be several “Sensitive Areas” that
need to be secured on the battlefield. At
the field of the deployment, if your team’s
flag is up, you are awarded the mission.
SCORING:
-
For each
“document” gathered at each Fire Base, your
team will be rewarded 10pts (max 70pts/Fire
Base- 1 document per live team member)
-
For each
Sensitive Area secured at the end of the
deployment, your team will be awarded
200pts.
-
For each KIA on
your team, you will lose 10pts.
SCOPE and TIMING:
-
A team will
consist of no more than 7 players (you may
play with less than 7 but remember, each
player can only grab 1 “document” per Fire
Base so teams with 7 players would get
70pts, while teams with 5 players would get
50pts)
-
There will be 3
Deployments throughout the day. Each
Deployments will run 45 mins with the first
mission jumping off at 0900hrs
-
There will be 3
reinsertion points to the field.
Reinsertion happens every 15 mins (2 per
deployment) with the first happening at 0915
hrs. Players will be reinserted at the
closest point to their team. If 2 or more
players from opposing teams are reinserted
at the same point, there will be a 10 second
cease fire between those players to allow
them to spread out before engaging.
-
Stand down for
30 mins following each deployment with the
first beginning at 0945hrs
-
The number of
Fire Bases will be determined by the number
of teams in attendance
-
There will be 3
Sensitive Areas per deployment
CONSIDERATIONS:
-
Consider
yourself a Mercenary, which is
defines as “a person or team who takes
part in an armed conflict who is not a
national of a Party to the conflict and is
motivated by private gain”.
-
Groups may
“team” up with other teams to run an
objective but remember- THERE CAN BE ONLY
ONE! Groups can agree to the terms one
minute and shoot you in the back the next-
weigh the risk vs reward and judge
accordingly.
-
Communication
equipment, NVG (night vision goggles), heavy
weapons (Grenades, LAWs, RPGs) are all
allowed. This includes mech, tank and
artillery support. Standard Survival rules
apply to these applications.
PRIZES:
